I am a research fellow in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of Nanyang Technological University. My research interests are in the fields of Soft Matter Physics, Biophysics and Microfluidics. I conduct experiments to comprehend and quantify basic phenomena occurring across a spectrum of applications, including microbial systems, physiological challenges and industrially-driven systems.

I completed my PhD thesis entitled "Soft channels: from bifurcation to wrinkling" in September of 2023 under the supervision of Draga Pihler-Puzović and Anne Juel in the University of Manchester. The project was aimed at understanding the fluid-structure interaction that drives the flow in soft channels. Since March of 2024 I have been working with Endao Han on (1) using physical principles to describe collective behaviours of Myxococcus xanthus and (2) mechanical properties of type VI secretion system.
